It can be very frustrating when you are on a weight loss diet and the weight returns shortly after you go off. Sometimes you gain a few additional pounds after stopping the diet program, leaving you even more overweight.

Looking at the many different weight loss plans, there are many programs and combined programs to pick from. The three components of any weight loss plan are: proteins, fats and carbohydrates. These essential nutrients can be broken down into different ratios for your total daily calorie intake. Ideally, you should have a balance of low fat, high proteins and a moderate amount of complex carbohydrates. This calorie ratio of each of these nutrients can be 30-40-30% for each meal, allowing you an easier more flexible plan to follow and to lose weight quickly.
