It is important for teenagers to eat healthy. It means you should eat 5 major groups of food such as grains, fruits and vegetables, dairy, lean meats and low fats. If you eat them in the right proportions you will be able to get the necessary nutrition. You shouldn’t deprive yourself of some high calorie foods like ice cream or pizza. If you eat them in moderation, you should be fine. You can eat fresh fruits and different nuts as snacks. You can take them to school and munch on them instead of unhealthy snacks.

You should adapt a general rule of eating healthy. During your meals, make sure that the half of your plate contains vegetables and the other half contains protein and carbs. Don’t overindulge in cheese and pepperoni in your pizza and go heavy on vegetables. It will be easy for teenagers to control their weight if they follow these healthy diet recommendations.
