Eating Whole Foods At Breakfast For A Healthy Start To Every Day
If you try to make an effort to begin your day with a great healthy breakfast like this of Wholefoods and fruit, I’m positive you will really notice the difference. It gives you a real boost of energy – not just physically, but also mentally. You feel fresh and healthy and ready to take on whatever the day has waiting for you!
Being healthy starts from the very moment you wake up each and every day. It always amazes me exactly how many people actually skip their breakfast entirely! Your breakfast is such an important meal to get you going for your day ahead.
I usually enjoy to stick to purely Health Foods and fruit for my breakfast. Actually, I almost always only eat fruit and yogurt. What a lot folks don’t realise is that it actually uses a lot of energy to digest foods such as toast, cooked breakfasts and cereals. Digesting fruit takes a lot less energy to digest, and therefore gives you a lot more energy to start your day with a bang.
My personal favourites for the morning are Goji Berry and blueberries. Not only do they provide very high really great for mixing into yogurt (or in fact a breakfast cereal if you choose to eat one). The Goji Berries have much higher levels of antioxidants but you can only really get them dried. Blueberries can be eaten fresh, of course.
Other fruits that are great to have are bananas (which you can cut. There are of course[spin]a lot of other fruits you can [spin]choose from but those are just my favourites.
The other benefit of eating mainly fruit in the morning is that you can get a lot of the vitamins and nutrients that you need on a dailybasis several different colours. This is an easy way to make sure that you get a nice range of fruits that contain different nutrients and vitamins that you need.
Another fruit that I always love to include are oranges. Often I will just cut an orange in half and eat it as it is, and other times I will squeeze them for juice. It’s hard to top freshly squeezed orange juice to accompany your breakfast!
Of course oranges are pretty high in vit c, just like your goji berries, so they are a great addition.
Promise yourself to give yourself a healthy start each day for the next week, and notice the change!
