Hi everyone! Karen Phoenix here again with reviewblogforyou.com and I want to talk today about what to eat when pregnant. For those of you that don’t know me, I am a nutrition & fitness trainer. I am also a new mother. I gave birth to my beautiful baby a couple months ago.
While I was pregnant, I used my experience with nutrition to find all I can about what to eat when pregnant. I wanted my unborn child to be as healthy as possible, and I also wanted to keep off all the unwanted extra weight. My other goal was to be able to go back to my pre-pregnancy body as soon as I could.
Trust me, I know what you are feeling. Learn from me and my experiences and have the best pregnancy possible. The first thing for you to do is to learn what to eat when pregnant.
Im sure you would love to learn how easy it can be to keep your little one healthy and gain no more than 24 to 31 pounds during your pregnancy. You can also learn how to get your pre-pregnancy body back within 7 weeks. It really is super easy. First, you need to find out which products you can eat that are good for you and taste great. Second, you need to completely stay away from the bad foods. That’s it? Yep! So, lets start with talking about what foods you should keep away from you and your baby!
Keeping the nasty foods out of sight is vital. Eating the wrong foods can alter your babys natural growth while in the womb. These unhealthy foods can cause havoc to your unborn childs developmental processes. These foods can also make you gain an abundance of unhealthy fat that can lead to other problems like gestational diabetes.
I am sure that you are already aware that little Debbie cakes and potato chips are bad for you, but what about foods that are labeled as health products? Yeppers, they can also be bad for you and your baby. Why? Well I can assure you that its not the calories, or carbs that’s harming you. Its not the sugars or fats! It’s the preservatives and substitutes that are harming you and your unborn child.
Read the ingredients list on all of your pre-packaged foods and you will understand what I am talking about. Research has proved that these chemicals really mess up our bodies. You want to learn what foods you can eat to have a near perfect pregnancy?
Eat foods with only 1 ingredient. I know it sounds limiting, but trust me its not. Foods like: chicken, steak, vegetables and fruits, rice, eggs, bacon, butter, avocados, coconut oil, and sweet potatoes. Make sure that you do not cut down your calories, and don’t eliminate carbs. You can cause more harm than good.
Understanding what to eat when pregnant can help you keep away the unwanted pounds, and can also help fight off crappy pregnancy symptoms like morning sickness and fatigue.
