Getting Rid Of Acne: A Guide
It’s a familiar feeling. You wake up in the morning and look in the mirror to see new pimples on your face. Almost everyone has had acne, but few know how to really deal with it. Unfortunately, there is no easy, fool proof way of preventing acne, but I can share a few tips that I’ve learned about.
Keeping your skin very clean is the first key to acne prevention. Oil and dirt will cause acne by clogging up your pores. By using cleansers and astrigents to wash away this oil and dirt.
Another key thing is to make sure that you don't pop any of your pimples While this might seem like a good way of getting rid of the unsightly whiteheads, this can lead to scarring, which is much worse for you in the long run I'm sure you'll agree.
Make sure that you keep your hands away from your face. If you touch your face, you transfer acne forming dirt and oils. Wash your hands before touching your face, if you must.
What you eat can be important in stopping acne. It seems that certain fat rich foods can worsen acne. Oddly enough, some research shows that healthy fats like omegas 3s can help prevent acne. Omega 3 is commonly available in the form of fish oil supplements.
A dermatologist is an option if your acne is really flaring up. They have special medicines and treatments that might work better for you. Consider that these treatment mights have unwanted side effects. If it's bad enough it might be worth it you though.
There are also natural remedies for acne to consider. Possible treatments involve different herbs and natural cleansers. It may be true that these work well but I have not checked myself.
Overall, there is no fool proof way of getting rid of acne. However, if you follow these tips, you should find it easier to keep things under control.
