Living A Full Life With Diabetes

Millions of people around the world live with a disease called diabetes. Those who suffer from the disease will have a number of different side effects that can be either short or long term. Living with diabetes can be difficult and challenging, especially with the many side affects.

Over a period of several years of living successfully with diabetes, a person can begin to have problems with many things like seeing, problems with blood vessels, nerves and even the kidneys. These problems can lead to a number of things. Many people eventually go blind, have raised risks of heart attack and stroke, have sores on their feet and digestion and impotence problems.

Men and women of all ages that suffer from diabetes can have sexual problems. Because of the stigma that is involved with sexual relationships in our society many people who suffer from diabetic impotence may not seek any help.

Living with either type of diabetes is difficult and it can be worse for some than others due to lifestyle. Thankfully, modern science has made living a full life with diabetes easier than it used to be and it seems to be getting easier by the decade. By following whatever exercise routine, diet, and medications your doctor gives you, your life will be easier.
