Nearly all women find themselves, at some point, fighting cellulite. Of course, everyone wants to be rid of their cellulite problems. As a result, a lot of women seek help in the strangest of places, even operating rooms. Rather than surgery, though, perhaps you should try a cellulite reduction exercise routine.

In fact, exercise is a great way to get rid of ugly cellulite dimpling. There are quite a few simple exercises designed to strengthen and tone your body. Although, which exercises you choose to do will have a lot to do with what results you get. It all starts with knowing what aerobic and anaerobic exercise routines are.

You can’t beat aerobic exercises for burning fat. So, aerobics are great for dropping cellulite. Fat cells under your skin’s surface are what cause cellulite to form to begin with, after all.

The thing about aerobics is that they’re high intensity exercises. A few examples are cycling, jogging or swimming. You can go to the gym to do aerobic training, too, if you want to. Stationary bikes, elliptical machines and other pieces of gym equipment are designed for aerobic training.

You can really tone up your muscles with aerobics. Areas like your buttocks, hips and thighs will quickly benefit. Since those are the areas that cellulite usually targets, aerobic exercises are a big part of the battle, but only part.

Part two of a good exercise routine is anaerobic exercise. If you think of weight training or strength exercises, you’re thinking in terms of anaerobics. The nice thing about anaerobic exercises is that, like aerobics, you can do them at the gym or at home.

Leg presses and leg curls will help you tone your lower body. Squats and lunges can also work wonders for you. One thing that makes them great is that you can dot hem anywhere and at any time.

Another thing that you could incorporate is a floor mat routine. It’s fast and simple to do some leg raises, for example. So, you can squeeze them into even the busiest schedule. Not only that, but, if you want a bigger challenge, you can add ankle weights.

Expect your muscles to increase if you do weight training, though. If you want to tone your muscles without actually bulking up, you may want to stay clear of the weights. Add repetitions to non-weight exercises, instead.

Balance is key in any cellulite reduction exercise routine. You need to include both the aerobic and the anaerobic. By balancing your exercise routine, you can be rid of your cellulite woes.
