Understanding The Effects of Crash Dieting
Muscle is also attacked whilst on a crash diet.
Muscle tissues also burn up calories that’s why most diet regimes will encourage you to exercise and in lots of cases increase the amount you do gradually.
Its good for us all (unless medically advised other wise) to increase are heart rate and get the blood pumping whilst getting a bit out of breath. This is good for burning up those calories but also good for our hearts.
It is without question that if you consume fewer calories than you use up through day to day living and exercise this will result in fat loss. But if you are loosing more than 2 pounds on the scales this is more likely to be muscle and water. It is now known that the body can really only lose 2 pounds per week of fat.
To safely lose weight you should reduce you calorie intake gradually, eat more healthily, increase your exercise regime and the weight should gradually reduce this will keep the muscle tissue which will also help to burn that unwanted fat.
You can maintain the weight loss that you achieve by sticking to a healthy diet with regular exercise.
